What We Do
At On-The-Ground Toronto (OTGT), we back the local heroes making a real difference in our city. Many community activists and street outreach groups work on the front lines without access to traditional funding. We are here to change that.
Seed Community Action:
We find local leaders and help send micro-grants directly to grassroots groups focusing on food security, harm reduction,
and housing stability.
Build Strong Partnerships:
We are currently partnered with The Neighbourhood Group Community Services (TNG) as our trustee, allowing them to handle funds, tax receipts, and financial admin so we can focus on hands-on outreach.
Raise and Recommend Funds:
We source private donations and public grants, review local needs, and recommend where the money will do the most good.
Measure Real Impact:
We keep track of how funds are used through real stories, photos, and simple reporting to ensure total transparency.
